Starting off in 2010 - News

I wish you all a wonderful 2010. May your year be filled with joy and laughter, love and light.
I enjoyed a quiet time at home, relaxing a bit, working a bit, lots of meetings and giving a couple of massages as well.

So let me get to the point and tell you what the meetings were about! I am very excited to announce that I am going into partnership with a wonderful woman from 1st February. I met Sara earlier this year on one of my Tantric Fire Couple's Retreats and we remained in contact. It took a while for the idea to work together to emerge and grow, but it most certainly did. Sara is giving up her work as an accountant to take up massaging full time with me. She will be moving around the country as I do, working in Johannesburg, Cape Town and from my home on the Durban South Coast. We spent the time between Christmas and New Year planning and organising and are almost ready to go! Some of you will already know her. She began training with me and we gave 4-handed massages as part of her training both on the Durban South Coast and in Johannesburg. She is made for this work and I look forward to introducing her to you all. Once her training is complete, we intend to keep the 4-handed massages as part of what we offer. They are proving to be very popular and I find that the massage to be quite different to the single massage session and therefore a valuable addition to my work.

In addition to finding Sara, I  also have found Barry, a facilitator based in Durban  who will assist me facilitate the the Durga Tantra School weekend retreats, making it a lot easier for me to set dates. Nils (the facilitator from Germany that I worked with in 2009), will be back later this year, and with him I will facilitate advanced retreats.
I already have started updating the School of Durga Tantra website, with info about retreats to take place this year. It is not complete yet and if you check in about a week's time, I will have dates up for a number of weekend retreats taking place during the first half of the year.

My journal entry is very short....I just had to share this exciting news with you. I am thrilled and it is a dream come true for me. I longed to be able to share the work and finally it is materialising.
So to all of you, have a great start to the year. I look forward to our continuing work together during this year.

Oh and do keep a check on the website for more news of updates and also dates for your area.

Warm greetings
Leandra
